TITLE: “Development of Aqueous Metal Oxide Dispersion with Water-resistant membrane by Forming Self-assembled Structure and its Application to Sun-care Products”
SUMMARY: We present a mechanism for aqueous dispersion of hydrophobic metal oxide and that for water resistance by forming hydrophobic self-assembled structure after drying. Furthermore, its application in sunscreen formulations and its advantages will be presented. This aqueous dispersion of hydrophobic metal oxide enables the design of formulations with both water-resistance and UV-protection.
